leopard 2A6 Fin. Finland on the frontline of defence. This is A Dutch version now in use with Fin armoured brigades. It was a unique and complicated conversion, I converted a regular 2A6 using Perfect Scale resin kit made for the version. Tracks are T-Rex, worn wheels are extra from Perfect Scale. Figures are KMT, Finland packs also KMT. FN mount and details are SSM. Extra thick grip surface was added using a fine sand. The base is a contour cut, a real section of land was pin pointed on goggle earth. I printed the contour map section traced them to foam core and cut the contours. Each contour cut represents 6-8 inches of grade fall
. For me this results in a much more natural and real landscape as it’s a exact scale representation. I used to use this technique when working on landscape models for engineering, landscape and architecture.

Btw the tracks and wheels are active, when the ground work is filled in they will level out and have a more natural look.
